Amaranth Hopi Red Dye

Full Sun. 5 to 6 feet tall. A rich burgundy color is carried throughout the stems, leaves and flowers of this eye-catching plant. Chenille textured flowers begin to appear by mid June.  A great plant for the border and for cutting.  The leaves and seeds of amaranth are edible.
