California Poppy / Eschscholzia Mikado

Full sun.  12 inches.  Mikado has a cup shaped form with orange face petals and a maroon reverse.  Eschscholzina blooms well in early summer, takes a break during the hottest days of summer then reblooms as the weather cools.  Shear back after initial bloom phase has finished.  Plant in well drained soil.

It is a more delicate and smaller in form than the more commonly seen varieties.  Sundew’s foliage is a delicate, finely cut silvery green. Nice addition to containers and the border.

Full sun. Grows to 48 inches tall. This tall cottage garden perennial bell flower is hardy to zone 3. Flower colors are white, lavender and light blue.  If you like delphiniums this may be the plant for you.
