Full sun. 24 inches.Prefers sandy well drained soils. Tiny five petaled royal blue flowers with a yellow eye. Especially nice when done as a mass planting or mixed with other meadow flowers.
Full Sun. 17 to 20 inches. Asti is more heat tolerant than other Osteospermum varieties and is drought tolerant. Deadhead to encourage more blossoms. Colors available are white, lavender (pictured) and purple. Though Asti may not send out as many flowers during the hottest months of the summer as in the spring, once temperatures begin to cool in late summer, Asti will bloom well again.
Sun. 10 to 14 inch height, 14 to 20 inch spread. Grand Canyon colors includes yellow, magenta, rose-reds, purple, lavender, creams and whites. The Akila line of osteospermum are heat and drought tolerant. A super choice for borders and containers.
Sun. 16 to 20 inches. Cheery daisy-shaped flowers grace this lovely plant. Its foliage is a deep glossy green. Osteospermum’s flowering may slow down during the peak of summer (we grow our plants in a bit of shade to keep them producing blossoms throughout the entire season). Akila Mix provide flowers in sparkling white, soft violet and and deep violet.
Sun. 16 to 20 inch height and spread. More tolerant to the summer heat than most osteospermum, Akila Sunset Mix is made up of a pallet of warm rusty reds, yellows and custard cream. We place our garden’s containers of osteospermum where they get a bit of shade during the day so they may keep blooming even in the height of summer.
Sun to Part Sun. Low grower. Known for its sweet honey fragrance. The pale blue of this variety is an unusual alyssum color offering. Good for both containers and for the border Prefers well drained soil.
