Full sun. Long and sleek  8-10″ long,  1 1/2-2 1/2″ diameter deep glossy purple fruits. Orient Express is an early variety that can set fruit in cool weather and during periods of heat stress as well. The flesh of this variety is tender and delicately flavored.

Eggplant Rosa Bianca

Full sun.  Rosa Bianca eggplant is an heirloom variety grown for its plump, round, 4-6″ long by 5-7″ diameter fruit streaked with white and violet. Its skin is thin and flesh is mild tasting with a creamy texture.

Firecracker Vine, Mina Lobata wsFull sun. 6 to 10 feet.  This fast growing vine is a hummingbird magnet.  It is adorned with long vivid blossoms that start out red and fade to orange then yellow and finally white as each blossom ages.  All of those colors are present on each stem at one time.  This plant will bloom summer into the fall.  This plant prefers a moist well drained soil.

Flowering Tobacco / Nicotiana Alata x Mutabilis

Full sun to part shade. Up to 60 inches.  We have long grown Flowering Tobacco Mutabilis but were unable to find the seeds this year.  This cross between alata and mutabilis provides the height and morphing colors (white to pale pink to rose) of mutabilis and the blossom size and form of alata.
