Kale, Seabor

by Maureen Sullivan on January 19, 2016

Full sun.  Provide one square foot per plant.  Seabor is a hybrid kale variety that produces deep blue-green leaves with a fair amount of leaf curl.  We trialed this variety in our market garden in 2015 when Winterbor was unavailable. Seabor does not produce as big a plant nor as big a leaf as Winterbor but it is a good substitute until Winterbor seed is readily available.
