Full sun to partial shade. 12 to 18 inches. For the front of the border or container planting, salvia scabra displays long, tubular, lavender to lavender/pink blossoms above small-leaved, dark green low-growing foliage. Plant it in average to moist, well drained soil. A neat and compact plant.

It produces an endless supply of mid lavender-blue flowers on arching stems.Kept deadheaded it will continue to bloom throughout the summer. Its foliage keeps fresh looking into early winter.

Sun. Love pumpkin seeds? Naked Bear’s 2 to 4 pound fruits are abundant producers of seeds, more so than traditional hulless seeded pumpkins. The semi-hulless seeds are excellent for roasting and snacking. The light orange gold flecked fruits also make attractive ornamentals.
Sun to partial shade. 18 to 24 inches. Another beautiful California native wildflower with great form, brilliant color and long bloom period. The 5 petaled, deeply serrated orange-red blossoms add a shot of heat and warmth to borders and containers. Provide a rich gravelly soil.
Full Sun. 15 inches tall, 20 inch spread. Rose-pink star shaped blossom opens for the day and last until evening. Blooms all season and produces a seed pod that is useful in arrangements. Plant in fertile, moist, well drained soil. Useful in the boarder and in containers.
Full sun. 3 feet tall. Orange Wonder combines violet-pink, yellow and orange on each blossom to a lovely effect. Suitable for cutting and borders.
Sun. 48 inches. The name of this snap says it all. Particularly well suited for cutting it produces most of its blossoms early and then late in the season.
