Sun. Allow 6 square feet per plant. Zephyr is a strait necked summer squash with exceptional flavor and is distinctive looking. The yellow fruit is green tipped at the blossom end. Harvest fruit after pollination but before the seeds begin to swell.
Full sun. Plant 18″ apart in a row, or as a hill, 3 to 4 feet apart. 48 days to maturity. The mid-green, slim fruit are at their best when picked at 7-8″ in length. The plant habit is open, making it easy to pick.
