Sun to Partial Shade. 20. Sahara’s semi-double and double flowers come in shades of rusty rose, soft pink-red, amber, and copper, unusual colors for rudbeckias. Blooms appear beginning around the 4th of July and continue through autumn. The flowers make excellent cuts.

While not as winter hardy as the other black-eyed-susans that we grow Tiger Eye is well worth having in your border or cut flower bed.

Broccoli Gypsy

Full sun. Our favorite broccoli, Arcadia, has been discontinued by its seed producer.  We have scanned the seed catalogues looking for a variety that shares the traits that made Arcadia so popular, mainly size and an abundance of side shoots.  Gypsy will head up a bit sooner than Arcadia.
