Sun. 1 to 4 feet. California native wildflower Aurantiacus bears flowers resembling azalea blossoms, the trumpet-shaped flowers vary in color from creamy buff to pale yellow with a peachy undertone. Well drained soil is a must for this plant. If you wish to overwinter this plant indoors, it would be best to grow this as a container plant and bring it indoors for the late fall to late spring as it is only cold tolerant to 15 degrees. Its stems should be pruned back to keep the plant compact and leafy.
