Full Sun. 18 to 24 inches. Bright red flowers grow up along strong upright stems in an open and air habit. The foliage is deep green with an lightly textured arrow shape. This is truly a favorite flower of hummingbirds. The vibrant color of this salvia stands out in the noonday sun. Grow in moist, well drained soil. We suggest pinching off spent flower spikes to keep the plant looking fresh. A plant suitable for the border, containers and for cutting.
