Scabiosa Fata Morgana

Sun to part shade.  Height 26 to 30 inches. Scabiosa, aka pincushion flower, produces  2 1/2–3 1/2″ blossoms with long, clean, wiry stems perfect for long lasting cut flowers. Fata Morgana’s blooms are a delicate blush apricot. Seed pods can be used to add whimsy and interest to mixed bouquets. Produces all summer long. Scabiosa will over winter but requires replanting every few years.
