Viola Sorbet Purple

by Maureen Sullivan on January 27, 2025

Full sun to partial shade. Sorbet Purple is a deep purple, reminiscent of lenten purple.  It works well with the yellows of spring daffodils, forsythias, cornus mas and so many other shades of early spring.

Violas flower best during cool weather. Plant in fertile, moist, well drained soil or potting mix. Violas withstand very cold, subfreezing temperatures and are a great choice for early season color in the border and in containers
